Most of the information contained in the site is collected and/or generated by the Cadet Programs Section - California Wing, Civil Air Patrol. In cases where other stories are posted on the site, an author is noted where appropriate.

Parts of the site are taken from the beginning work of Captain Aaron Kahn in 1994-95. Josh Pavlovich took over the site during this time. The site was moved to a new domain, with a totally redesigned format at the end of 1995. Copyright on the contents of the site begin with this information from 1995, though most of it was updated in late 1995 to early 1996 when the site expanded on the move to the new domain (www.cawgcadets.org). The details on the CTG and ILP program are mainly compiled from the work of Captain Kahn and Lt Col (ret) Kit Reichow.

The site has gone through another redesign in the spring of 1998 to aid further in the ease of navigation and speed in which pages would load. There are a few pages that may have been missed in the update.

The cawgcadets.org Webmaster is 1Lt. Matthew Baker and as of October, 2006, Lt Col Marc Cohen is the Content Manager.
