Welcome to the Alumni section.  As you can see, we've been busy finding old photos.

We need your help, if you have an email address of someone who was a Cadet in California Wing or worked with Cadets as a Senior Member, please make them aware of this Alumni section.

We're looking for thousands of past Cadets.  We hope, over the coming months we'll find many of them.  Please help by passing the word today.  It doesn't matter if you were a cadet in 1971 or 1991. We want to know what you're doing today.

Please help me proof read!  If you see a picture that simply says "scanxxx" and you know the people in the picture - send me an email with the photo album name, scan number and the correct caption and I'll update  it in my monthly republish.

Who should join our Alumni?

If you were ever a Cadet in California Wing or a Senior Member who at one time worked with Cadets in California Wing - This is your place.  Many of us join CAP as Cadets, and later leave the program as our life journey takes us down many paths.  We look back at our time as a Cadet, and the friends we made during that period and ask, "Wonder how Dennis Hall, the 6th CTS Commander is doing?"

1. Pictures of people, where you can actually see their faces is preferred over pictures of flight marching away from the camera.
2. If possible, please send digital photos (ie already scanned) on a photo CD.  Standard .jpg file format is recommended.
3. If possible, change the name of the file to something descriptive, like names, dates places, etc...
4. On the Photo CD, organize the file folders by Year and Activity.

Now, if you don' t have the ability to scan original photos, we may still want your photos.  First see if your local photo developer will convert your old photos in to digital photo CD.  If not, you may send us the photos and we'll scan them.  Keep in mind this is a very time consuming process, therefore if you plan to send us your photos, negatives or slides - follow these guidelines:

1. We can scan up-to 5x7 photos, 35mm slides or 35mm negative 5 frame strips (uncut).  You still must include a MS Word (.doc) file with the photos including all the description of the photos you would like on the web site.  We prefer 35mm negative color film strips over Photos because we can scan 5 photos at once and save time.
2. Your pictures, slides or negatives will be returned after they're placed on the web site.
3. There is no guarantee we'll place your photos on the web site.  We'll consider the quality of the photos and the number of pictures we have from that period already posted.

Before you send photos, which will need to be scanned, please email us to make certain we have the time to scan them.
