2005 California-Nevada Wing Encampment

On the road to the Mitchell Award and completion of Phase 2 each cadet must complete Encampment.

California Wing Encampments are unique in the fact since 1975 they have been entirely run by cadets, for cadets, with the creation of the Cadet Training Group (CTG).

Encampment can be the most significant, worthwhile training experience in a CAP cadet's career.  Training is what encampment is all about.

When: 6-13 August 2005

Where: Camp San Luis Obispo

Requirements: MUST receive your C/Amn achievement no later than 01 June 2005.

Application Form: CAWGF31 only (Fill in, print, sign and mail). Applications MUST be legible. Illegible handwritten applications will be rejected.

Costs: $180 for Basic Cadets, $180 for Cadet Staff

CADET AND SENIORS INTERESTED IN ATTENDING AS STAFF

• Cadets - if you have successfully completed your basic encampment and would like to do more, apply for staff today
• Seniors - we're in need of Seniors willing to work at encampment.  Tactical Officers, Medical, Transportation, Kitchen, Logistics and Headquarters staff are needed.  If you think you might be able to join us, please contact the Encampment Commander, Lt Col Tony Upton.
